Netsafe Now! is a nationwide campaign launched once a year and focusing on secure behaviour on the Internet. The campaign consists of a number of information activities, all of which deal with current security problems on the Internet. The activities are spread all over Denmark and are followed up by various information material, including campaign newsletters, websites etc.

In 2007, the Netsafe Now! Day will be on Tuesday 9 October and address senior citizens, i.e. all persons aged 60 years or more. But all interested parties are welcome to participate in the activities.

Cooperation between public and private Netsafe Now! is based on joint private/public initiatives where a number of private enterprises, organisations and public authorities work together to create the campaign in order to strengthen citizens' knowledge of secure behaviour on the Internet.

The Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, represented by the National IT and Telecom Agency, has made a project secretariat available, and the project organisation is established for the duration of the project.

Marketing of Netsafe Now!

The project management cooperates with an advertising agency on the marketing of Netsafe Now! The advertising agency is in charge of preparing advertisements, campaign folders, the website, and parts of the PR activities.
